Another way to London is to take Berrys’ excellent coach service, either early morning or mid-morning, from the Memorial Hall car park in Wincanton non-stop to Hammersmith, taking just two hours; it gives you quick access to Central London by the Piccadilly and District underground lines (maps of all London transport systems can be accessed from the Useful Links page.) This service gives you a choice of return times, mid-afternoon or early evening. Berrys have another service to London, from Wells through Shepton Mallet and Frome. Click here for their timetables and fare schedules: Superfast 2 from Wincanton or Superfast 3 from Shepton Mallet.
National Express also provide a once a day coach service to London (Victoria Coach Station), from Yeovil and Shaftesbury; it takes twice as long, with many stops, but it does call at Heathrow Airport. It runs up to London in the morning and back in the afternoon; for its timetable click here. For other National Express services click here.
