To see if the train is going to be on time, click here and scroll down to Departures   Arrivals; click on whichever of these you want and you should see the next two or three trains to come in. Now click on the little down arrow on the left for the train you want and you should see what progress it is making towards Bruton and its expected arrival time. To see any further progress, double click on that little down arrow.

There is no Ticket Office but you can buy your ticket on the train; credit or debit cards are accepted. There is a Help Point on each platform, a bit hard to see in bright sunlight; this shows what trains are due, where they are going and where they are just now; if a train is going to Gloucester it does go to all the stations to Bristol first! There is free parking immediately outside the station, but not very much. Not been to Bruton before? For a handy map that you can print out, with walking directions, click here, or see the big map at the station exit. ….For more details about the trains listed below please click to see the Heart of Wessex timetable. Travelling on a Saturday or Sunday? Because of frequent engineering works the train company advise you to check your times with National Rail Enquiries.

As a voluntary organisation we can accept no responsibility for errors or changes in times; if you do see an error we’d be very grateful if you would kindly let us know by using the Feedback page.

Notes: W - there is a connecting train from Bristol to Westbury;   ** a long wait at Westbury; 1518 - a South Western Railway train giving an extra useful connection from Paddington, changing to it at Westbury, of course.
